Program Assistant
Duha joined JSS recently in September 2022. Born in Irag to a Palestinian refugee family, she finished a degree in architectural design and worked as an architect for four years in Baghdad. Eventually, she travelled to Indonesia with her family, and worked as an IOM volunteer to help educate refugee children.
In April 2021, she resettled in the United States, after waiting for over seven years, and is thankful to finally give herself and her family a home country after 34 years as a refugee. At JSS, Duha helps other refugees from all over the world start their live in America.
