Case Manager
Kate has been pleased to work at JSS in the Family and Senior Services program since September 2022. She grew up in New York City and came to Madison years ago to attend UW majoring in Comparative Literature as an undergraduate and completing the Master’s Program in Social Work. She decided to settle here and raised fraternal twin boys.
She has a history of working in community based mental health starting with Journey’s CSP for people experiencing persistent Mental health issues and then at Journey’s Mobile Outreach to Seniors Team focusing on Seniors with Mental health issues.
She worked at North Eastside Senior Coalition for many years helping seniors remain independent for as long as possible with supports in place. During Covid times she worked in the Madison Schools as a substitute teacher. She is passionate about Madison, her work and about nature and gardening, birding, film, music and cooking.
