Refugee Resettlement Case and Program Manager
Zabihullah (Zabi) Sahibzada was born in Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on June 28, 1985. He completed his primary and high school studies in Jalalabad city and received his bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, from Nangarhar University in 2008. Zabi holds a diploma in business administration from virtual university of Pakistan, a certificate in leadership and management from institute of Leadership and Management in London, a certificate of leadership from ISM Dubai and many other certificates from the USAID and United Nations.
Zabi started his career with local NGOs in Afghanistan in early 2002 and joined the USAID team at DAI (Development Alternatives Inc.) in 2006 as an MIS manager. He moved to Kabul in 2007 to join another USAID/ IRD (International Relief and Development) as an MIS and M&E Manager, ACE/ADF/USAID as a Senior MIS Manager from 2010 till 2016, and worked with Chemonics International as a team lead for component-I and moved to United Nations in 2017 as head of finance and grants department.
Zabi has years of experiences in the fields of IT, Data analysis, Research, Databases and programming languages, finance and administration and the leadership and management. Zabi can speak Pashto, Dari, Urdu/Hindi and English languages.
