Cantor Rabbi Rob Jury, PhD is a national leader in Jewish Recovery, a licensed professional counselor, and the creator of Midrash Therapy. He is the Clinical Director of the Tikvah Center for Jewish Hope and Healing.
Together under his warm and engaging guidance, we’ll study, celebrate Shabbat, and develop a recovery-based approach to living that will benefit EVERY member of our community, and that is attuned to Jewish traditions, values and spirituality.
Multiple events will be offered to explore:
- Addressing the needs of people with Substance Use Disorders in Madison’s Jewish spaces
- Spiritual tools for the recovery journey–and for everyone on life’s journey
- Support and connections for Jewish families facing Substance Use Disorders

Join JSS Rabbi Renee Bauer, Volunteer Coordinator Paul Borowsky, and Spiritual Care Assistant Kristin Geil for a passover Seder at Oakwood Village! Volunteers will assist in leading this service with light snacks and refreshments. All are welcome, and no registration required. Please note the Nakoma Room is located in the Heritage Oaks building.
